One rainy night, she finds an old friend, Hiroaki Ikeda, the same cadet that saves her father from be kidnapped. Karen felt feelings for him by the first time she saw the young man, years ago, and that feelings will change into something more deep years later. Karen and her father loses contact with Hiroaki after the holocaust, and they don’t see each other again until that night. Exhausted and wet, Hiroaki falls in the floor of Karen's house, and then she reacts, covering him with a blanket to protect him from the cold.

The young man has become into a nomad that travels from town to town with two objectives: Attack the invaders with acts of sabotage... and survive. The next day, Hiroaki offers Karen to join him to travel, so she will not be alone anymore, and she accepts with a lot of enthusiasm. Then, a travel with no specific destination begins, were the simple wish for living will take them to live adventures that they never imagine before...
