Karen Isuma is, with no doubt, one of my favorites characters. She has passed through different transformations, from a little girl of 11 years old, very shy and quiet, to a 14 years old young girl, more active and interesting. She maintains the main concepts that gave her life, but her appearance has been improved. Created, in a way, based on the character Amy Mizuno, of the anime Sailor Moon, and under the influence of the image of a girl that I fell in love a long time ago, I sculpted this character, that now is totally independent of her first references. But not only her appearance has changed, she is now really important for the story, so now she is one of the main characters in this manga. Karen is, during the first part of the story, an 8 years old little girl, that lives with her father. Later, in the main part of the story, we will see her like a 14 years young girl that lives in very hard conditions. In the original idea, she was almost not important to the story, but that has changed with the time. In fact, the ideas that I have been creating to improve the story, have made her almost the absolute main character. She is a very happy girl, but very shy too. She is very perceptive, but at the same time she is very absentminded. In general, she likes simple things. She is, definitely, very feminine, and even if she have past by very difficult situations, her maturity is not so great, but that is another story...
